Jantar is a fishermen’s settlement located in an old amber trail. Now due to big amber beds it is famous for its healing climate which has been used to cure respiratory system diseases for centuries.
Besides these features the countryside is also famous for natural attractions: an ostrich farm in Jantar and 3 parks : ‘Mewia Łacha’ and ‘Kąty Rybackie’ – where you can see water birds and their nests and ‘Buki Mierzei Wiślanej’ where you can see old, magnificient beeches. Another places worth seeing are a drawbridge in Rybin and a church in Stegna where annually they organize organs concerts and a museum in Stutthof.
During holiday months the Amber Collecting World Championships are organized in Jantar.

The centre is located about 50 metres from the beach, a road leading to it goes through the belt of sand dunes covered with pine woods. Along the wide, beautiful beach there is a promenade. The distances to bigger towns are: 40 kilometres to Gdańsk, 45 km to Malbork and 30 km to Krynica Morska.

The centre is composed of 3 pavilions:
· hotel – 3 grounds with balconies , double and family rooms of studio type, with bathrooms, equipped with TV and a double apartment with a kitchenette and a bathroom.
· Holiday centre for children – the centre perfectly prepared for the children and young people needs. Rooms for 2,3, and 5 persons. Double rooms are with bathrooms and the guests in the rest of the rooms can use common bathrooms. All the rooms are furnished with beds, wardrobes, chairs and sets of drawers.
· During the children stays the centre employs a nurse ( non-stop) and a doctor is called when needed. Children with respiratory system diseases can use inhallations.
· Common building with a cafe and a canteen.
At the guests’ disposal:
· conference room for 100 persons with amplifiers system and screens;
· cafe;
· billiards;
· tennis courts;
· mountain bikes rental ( a bike trail is prepared in the woods);
· volleyball, football and basketball grounds;
· recreational equipment rental;
· playground.

The centre organizes courses, meetings, parties and trips to Trójmiasto, Malbork and Frombork, dancing parties and bonfires.
