Rudy is situated about 28 km from Gliwice to the direction of Kuźnia Raciborska, on the route from Gliwice to Rybnik.
The village is known for its Cistercian Monastery complex (an abbatial palace, a church and ruins of the monastery), and a Landscape Park with many exotic trees and bushes. The village is surrounded by woods with fishing ponds. The picturesque countryside gives the tourists the possibility of relax.

The hotel-inn is a distinctive building of an unusual form. It is composed of two buildings, a restaurant and a hotel, joined by arcades.
